I have an old Seeeduino mega Version 1.23 that I haven’t used in a long time. I am trying to download a sketch with no luck. It already has a Blinky sketch I uploaded a long time ago, which is still running. I am trying to upload a new sketch with Arduino 1.8. I have added the Seeeduino boards to the preferences. If I select board type seeeduino mega, it just times out trying to upload. If I select one of the other seeeduino boards, it comes back with the error “wrong chip type selected”. It just seems strange that if I select the wrong board, it knows the chip is incorrect, but when I select the Mega, it doesn’t know anything and just times out.

I realize this is a very old board, the date on it is 2010. I also tried with arduino IDE 1.0 but had no luck.
