Seeed Odysse with monitor HDMI to DVI adapter

I’m having an issue with the Seeed Odyssey. I need to Connect it to a older monitor that has a DVI port . So I have a HDMI to DVI adapter . When I first start it up, the monitor works fine, but within 30 to 40 seconds the monitor just went black.

I’ve got two of these and I tried the second one and the same thing happens. So I disconnected the Seeed and reconnected it to a monitor that has just a HDMI connection . This works fine.

My other computer has no problem connecting to either of the other two monitors with thru the HDMI DVII adapter. Both computers are running windows 10.

It would seem that this would either be a hardware problem or a software problem. The software on my other computer IS NOT A OEM version of Windows 10.

So does the SEED Odyssey come with a OEM version of Win 10 and is there a issue with that?

Or

Is it a hardware problem?

Thanks

HDMI to DVI Adapter does have many incompatibilities, especially in MacOS.

This was with Win 10 Not OSX

Before the windows load ur not using drivers for the graphics card, after windows starts the driver is allocated and in my case the driver will set a weird refresh rate, in order to fix this i installed teamviewer before the driver gets automatically installed by automatic updates…

After this teamviewer will always load (teamviewer disregards refresh rate), so after this, when the windows loads and u connect to a screen, just connect with teamviewer and set 60 hertz refresh rate or lower…

Hope this helps
