SD Card Shield v4.0b error

It appears that the SD signal buffer is connected to 5V not 3.3V

hey both them are ok. There is a switch on Seeeduino that can turn on 3.3v or 5v.

I’m not sure what you are saying. I have V4, no switch! The 5V logic damaged one of my SD cards. I cut and jumper’d the buffer to power it from 3.3V now things work.

Hi,maybe you are using SD Card shield with Arduino? But Arduino doesn’t have a switch which can change the logic level, but you can look at Seeeduino v3(seeedstudio.com/depot/seeedu … ?cPath=6_7),it has a switch, so i think it is more convenient.
