I’m using an SD Card in the SD Card Shield but it doesn’t remain in any longer then 20 seconds or so. Although humorous the first few times as the SD Card shoots from the shield across my desk whilst attached to the Arduino, it refuses to stay in. I think the locking mechanism might be broken, is my only choice to buy a new shield? Has this happened any other people? If I do buy a new shield who is to say this won’t happen again?
I’ve only owned it for a few months. Any advice would be appreciated.

Your best bet would be raising a ticket with Seeed support. If you send it back to them I’m sure they’ll replace it assuming it was a manufacturing defect.
