I’m interested in the ReSpeaker Mic Array v2.0 as part of a DIY offline voice assistant for the smart home. The mic itself seems to fit that purpose quite well but there are no appropriate cases available to build it into the ceiling. The USB 4 Mic Array is a final ready-to-use box, but there are two things preventing it from using at the ceiling: It is black and the plugs for USB and 3.5 jack are to be accessed from the side. So are there plans to release a similar molding for building it into a drywall colored in plain white and with the plugs on the back? There might be quite some people out there with a 3D printer in hand, I’m not one of those. And I guess the results doing it the home-made style would be pretty different in terms of quality compared to your table-top case.
