I’m recording 5 minute clips on Respeaker Core v2.0. I noticed recently that some of these clips are blank audio. The files immediately before and after seem to work fine and be the proper size. These are significantly smaller, 14.5 KB versus the average 3.5 MB.
I have created a logging system to report errors but there aren’t any. The operating system seems to think it’s functioning just fine, but clearly it is not.
These blank files are produced randomly. Why might this be happening?
