Flashing the NVIDIA Jetpack 6.2 build to an Orin Nano Developer Kit, the Veye camera driver then loads, the camera I2C address is detected, and the device /dev/video0 is generated.
Hence the problem generating the video device with Jetpack 6.2 on the J401 is an incompatibility between the J401 carrier board and the Jetson Orin Nano reference carrier board, or an issue with the Seeed Jetpack 6.2 mass flash image:

I loaded from Flash the device step by step.
Next I will try flashing the J401 with the basic NVIDIA image. Even if that were to work for our production units, it would not be a full solution since the NVIDIA build does not include PPP support. But does this help point to where the Veye camera incompatibility is?
