Reading 134.2 KHz rfid tags on an arduino board

Hi all. I’m a biologist working on a project trying to read small RFID tags (glued to bees) with an arduino. The only tags light enough for my purposes are 134.2 Khz tags (from a company called Biomark if anyone’s interested), but I’m having trouble finding a 134.2 KHz rfid module. The RDM660 (http://iteadstudio.com/produce/134-2khz-rfid-reader-module-rdm660/), would be perfect but is out of stock over at iteadstudio and I can’t seem to find anywhere that has it. So, my question is, (a) does anyone know of another source for 134.2 KHz RFID modules, or (b) what are the chances of being able to read 134.2 tags with a 125 KHz reader? I have found some rumblings that this might be possible, but nothing clear. Thanks!

Hi there,

For your question,

A. Sorry, we haven’t sell any module with 134.2 KHz RFID.
B. Different frequency can’t use together, they are not compatible with each other.

Hope you can find want you want at last.
Also can change your tag to other frequency.

Best regards,

Yuri
