I found this: https://www.seeedstudio.com/Grove-GPS-Air530-p-4584.html. I see it works w/ 3.3v logic boards like the BeagleBoard family of boards.
Is this true? Will it work without changing anything on the BBGG, BBGW, or BBG?

Yes, it supports 3.3v.
From the Grove - GPS (Air530) wiki page, it’s mentioned that currently the example code support Arduino and raspberry, for other platforms you might need to develop your own firmware or code!
