Has anyone had any luck swapping the barb fittings on the seeed studio waterblock for Rpi5?
I have purchased 2 and they claim to be standard G1/4 but are only about 2/3 the size of a G1/4 thread. I was looking to replace them with some Corsair cooling fittings i have spare as well as pump, radiators etc from water cooling projects but the fittings claiming to be G1/4 are just not even close.

Use a caliper to measure the outer diameter of the existing threads. Standard G1/4 threads have an outer diameter of approximately 13.2 mm, while G1/8 threads are about 9.7 mm.

Will do. It certainly does look that way to be hinest just by eyeballing it. It is approximately 2/3 the size of the multiple G1/4 fittings i already own.
In case anyone else here is in the market for one of these blocks. Please beware. They are not as advertised. They are indeed G1/8 and NOT the advertised G1/4 standard thread.
Upon measuring they definitely seem to be the G1/8 that liaifat85 guided me to.
I am hoping to alleviate the problem with these…

That will still work out for my application but if you are relying on them being G1/4 it may not.
