Can you tell me, does the default firmware for the V3.0 rainbowduino have I2C functionality?
Also, do you have a link to the source code of the default firmware?

The WIKI has have lot of source code, at resources there is a libraries for customer.
It is compatible in I2C, you can design yourself.
