Rainbowduino 1w and/or 3w Luxeon

Planning to develop a Illumination for a exhibition(want to play with some sequences, on/of, color changing, fade in/out, etc) playing around with Arduino and some mod lamp and RGB sketches, but want to aproach(and know if Rainbowduino its cappable) the annunced 8 super source driver channel of 500mA each on the Rainbowduino to control a total 7 1w or 3w Luxeon Leds, its possible?

I am sorry, Rainbowduino cannot drive high power LEDs well.
And we are planning to build another device to drive the high power LEDs.
