Question about ReSpeaker USB Mic AEC noise suppression

Hi there,
I am considering the Respeaker USB Mic for a far field detection environment where loud music (that I control) is playing. My, perhaps limited, understanding of AEC is that the signal of the music or other noise that it is desired to suppress must be fed into the XMOS chip so that it knows to remove these artifacts. I am wondering how this is done - do I have to set the Respeaker Windows driver to a particular audio output device…or send my music to the Respeaker driver explicitly? Or does this happen some other way with no need to explicitly send audio to the ReSpeaker USB Mic unit?
