I have my ReSpeaker USB Array 2 set up according to the documentation. I installed the firmware 6_channels_firmware.bin
from a native Ubuntu machine, and it works perfectly there, even with ODAS, where it monitors 3D audio. Since it worked, I tried to set it up on Windows, where I need it functioning. However, when I use Audacity to record audio to test if channel 0 (processed audio) is working, it doesn’t. Channel 5 (callback) works, though. I need channel 0 to clean up the voice audio properly, without picking up music from the speaker.
Any ideas?
The first track, which should only contain my voice, has many waves caused by the music. There should only be waves from my voice.
I have it set up the same way as documentation.
With that script from the page ‘ReSpeaker Mic Array v2.0 | Seeed Studio Wiki’, it records the channels, but I’m facing the same issue; it doesn’t process the audio
Hi,
Please share more details about the issue. What is your Windows version? Have you installed the Windows driver mentioned in its wiki page? How did you operate the device? We will continue to help you with this issue after receiving your detailed reply.
My operating system is: Windows 11 Pro.
Yes, I have tried installing the driver, but when I run the DFU or APP application, it doesn’t detect the device, regardless of whether I’ve run the dfu_windows.py
script or not.
Therefore, I am unable to install it.
I have primarily followed these repositories:
But they haven’t yielded results. The microphone is connected to my laptop, and obviously, I am using Python.
However, I’ll mention again that the issue is that channel 0 on my microphone is not processing correctly audio. When I run dfu_windows.py
, it turns off, and in the drivers, it appears under “Other Devices,” but with an icon indicating it’s not recognized. I believe all I need is to find the right driver for it to work, which should resolve the issue.
