Problems with 315 mhz module

I can’t get this thing transmiting something stable with the VirtualWire 1.4 library.

The receiver receives some messages, but it loses a lot of data. If I move the module slighty when receiving it loses more data.

Is this normal? Voltage input has something to do with the transmision?

Both sender and receiver are very close together (2 mts)

Try hooking up the TX to 9 volt. They arn’t overly great at maintaining a good clean signal
