Problem with RPLIDAR A1M8 USB Interface

Hello. I just purchased a RPLIDAR A1M8. Seeed Order # 4000036980. It appears that the USB interface is completely dead. It powers the scanner, but is never recognized by the computer. The blue light never lights. I have tried it on two different Windows machines and two different linux machines. I have installed the drivers and gone over all the instructions repeatedly.

Can someone please assist? I’d like to test another USB interface board if that is possible.

I have ask supplier for help.
they said if your USB adapter board is damaged and needs to be purchased again, the supplier said that the USB adapter board is not covered by the warranty, and the radar is under warranty.
