Pressing F7 does not work when keyboard is on USB 2.0 port

I have a wireless combo mouse / keyboard from Arteck: when I plug the wireless adapter in the USB 2.0 port the F7 press to enter boot menu does not work; if I instead plug it in the USB 3.0 port it works. Any ideas on how to make it work with the USB 2.0, possibly one of the USB settings? I am not using fast bios.

You are using that version of the BIOS, let me confirm the issue.

My BIOS is 2.19.1268. Is the issue fixed in a subsequent version?

Have you tried any other keyboards? Is it possible that there is a keyboard compatibility problem?

It is a bit strange. I have plugged another keyboard in and after having two keyboards at the same time they both appear to work. The other thing that I did was to update Windows 10 drivers but I assume that this would be irrelevant.
