power consumption?

Hi,

I would like to buy a Linkit One with a Grove base shield and some sensor. My deveice will be battery powerd, so power consumption is very important vor me. The Linkit One will be sleeping most of the time and will wake up every 20 minutes or when an interrupt occurs, take the measurements, send them via GPRS and go to sleep again.
Is it possible to stop the current supply for the sensors during sleep?

Hello,

The Grove Sensors will always be powered. The power consuption of each Grove sensor is different. This SPI/I2C based sensors are low power, Gas Sensors have heaters that needs to be always on which consume more power.
