Does anyone have an actual invoice of, or can breakdown the costs regarding PCB Assembly where the components come from a US distributor (specifically Mouser). What I’m looking for are those shipping and handling costs with moving the parts from America to China. Further is it ever recommended not to use the testing services? If testing is highly recommended, then is there an additional cost to sending Seeed test fixtures?
The cost breakdown can be found on the PCBA order page after uploading the BOM. The one that says components cost, assembly cost etc. When the components are ordered from abroad, the procurement and shipping costs are embedded in these. There is no detailed calculation for shipping and procurement per component as such.
Testing is recommended for larger quantities in which it may not be convenient for you to test the boards yourself. The PCBA team should be able to advise on specific testing capabilities. You can send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org to contact them directly.
