Just received by board (the case is still in transit).
I am curious if there is a recommended or preferred way to fix the battery and antennas. Both come with double sided sticky tape though there is no obvious intended way to fix them on the board. Are there areas on the board safe or intended to stick the battery and or antenna? Should they even be fixed to the board or to the case?
Any guidance or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
I am not sure if this somehow indirectly suggests an answer to my question or it is simply a suggestion to buy a case.
What I need is find a safe and reasonable location to stick the battery. And antennas. It may be reasonable to attach antennas to the external casing. However attaching battery to the case is very unusual.
Hi @cherio , I was not suggesting to simply buy the case, I was mentioning that there are some cases available like the re-computer case to fit the ODYSSEY. since it’s a brand new product, we need to some hacky solution or inspiration from others.
If you are not want to attach the battery to the case, which one you think better?

I totally get that.

It feels like my question bounces back to me
Usually the battery gets attached to the motherboard, because it is “less optional” than e.g. antennas. My initial thought was to stick it to the motherboard in the area where there are no visibly exposed conductive components and it is not on the way of MMC e.g. as I circled on the picture. But then I wasn’t sure how safe it was doing that.
