ODYSSEY - X86J4105 - Recommended M.2 to PCIe Converter?

So I picked up an M.2 to PCIe adapter and tried a few PCIe devices, and none of them work. The main device I wanted to use was one of my PCIe NVMe drives, but when I plug that device in the Odyssey will power up and power down. Never gets into a post at all - and I do have power to the PCIe adapter from an external source.

It may be the adapter itself - has anyone tied an adapter yet? Any success?

@Robotica72 pls tell us what kind of your pcie device. 12V power is needed If you use M.2-standard pcie adapter. M.2 socket only provide 3.3V. Can you post the picture here?
