I recently purchased a Jetson and the recommended power supply and I am unable to get it to boot. The LED on the power supply comes on, but the LED on the board doesn’t light. I’ve checked the power supply with a voltmeter and it is putting out 5 volts.
I tried powering it from my Mac using the mini USB port, and the LED on the board comes on for approximately 7 seconds and then turns off. I see no output on the monitor I have attached.
Any suggestions?
Answering my own question for others…
By default the nano only uses the micro USB port for power. In order to use the barrel connector for power, a jumper needs to be installed in J48. With all the connectors facing down, J48 pins are about a centimeter above the barrel jack.
