Reduced footprint and new power class support

The nRF9151 offers a compact, pre-certified, and highly integrated device, containing a System-on-Chip (SoC), power management, and RF front-end, all by Nordic Semiconductor. Compared with its nRF91 Series predecessors, it is designed for increased supply chain resilience, and boasts a significant footprint reduction of 20% :exploding_head:, allowing more compact products without performance compromises, a particular benefit for wearable devices, smart sensors, and other space-constrained IoT applications.

Seeed has GOT to put one of these together
LORA is great but not prolific or adopted enough for Extended reach.

LTE-M and NB-IoT they HAVE it NOW, NO pipe dreams and no nonsense, Lowest power draw, multi-stack -mode radios. SEEED studio NeeeDs :wink: :pinched_fingers: to freshen The Xiao Nrf52 series or lose out to the competitors.

“We selected Nordic’s nRF9160 SiP for our solution due to its compact form factor and excellent power consumption,” says Blackshire. “The nRF9160 is currently the lightest and smallest LTE-M modem on the market and does not require an extra host microcontroller.
