No submenues

My brand new Quad NANO does not allow me to select the submenues. What going on here ?
It came loaded as:
Hardware 2.6
SYS 1.51
APP 2.52

I updated the firmware to:
Hardware 2.6
SYS 1.52
APP 2.53

It still doesn’t work! None of the buttons will allow to select the submenues.

The toggle selectors work as buttons as well if you push them down rather than toggle side to side. Are you doing that and it still isn’t working?
