Newbie question about using Chip_PU to shutdown processor

As the title suggests, I’m new here, but have a question related to XIAO Esp32-C6 board. I am thinking of using it in a design where I want to keep the board powered (mainly to use the LiPo battery charger active) but want to shutdown the processor and an external peripheral except for very short duration once an hour.

My thought is to use the Chip_PU off of the same power switch I have on the peripheral. I mostly want to confirm that there is no ‘harm’ in leaving Chip_PU driven low for a sustained period while there is still power to the chip.

So can you describe it a bit more, what it is you want to do, The C6 Sleeps well and draws the lowest power of the series. Check the technical reference guide for more in depth info on the CHIP_PU pin info. Probably ok IMO. :crossed_fingers:
