Thanks to Kevin at Seeed the wish is coming for a SKU for XIAO ESP32S3 with B2B Connector and WITHOUT Camera Daughter Board

https://www.seeedstudio.com/Seeed-Studio-XIAO-ESP32S3-Pre-Soldered-p-6334.html we need to figure out why this SKU does not have the B2B connector… the image is confusing… it kinda looks like the B2B is on… but it is not populated… I see no reason to produce new XSP32S3 without the B2B connector popoulated… I would say to discontinue that code… many people want this without the camera daughterboard because the are making a custom B2B device or feel the camera is inferior (edit the wiki and product page accordingly) I do not know how much inventory of this type exists

I will issue a change, add the b2b connect to the 102010634 Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32S3 (Pre-Soldered), take effective on next batch

to whom might need an XIAO with B2B in urgent, this XIAO ESP32S3 Plus also comes with the B2B connector

are we going to be able to add the sense board (camera daughterboard) ?

Im not sure it is wort it to do just the daughter board… but if anyone can do it… its kevin

i think so! i dont know why not the purpose for the change was some boards were created without the B2B connector populated… which didnt make good sence… maybe before the B2B c
connector was finalized

I’ll look at the schematic and see, but I bet AOK on the Camera board working I would bet. :+1:
With the B2B and the PLUS , you get nearly a full ESP32S3 Dev board device… How cool is THAT! MAN! :grin:

Are the extra GPIOs usable even if we use the ones with the B2B connector ?
