The Grove AI HAT for Edge Computing is under pre-order now! Since it is only a single board, while real AI application usually requires a camera, screen, and also some sensors for data collecting. So we decided to make a Grove AI Kit for Edge Computing.



The Grove AI Kit for Edge Computing will include:

  1. Grove AI HAT for Edge Computing
  2. Camera OV2640.
  3. TFT LCD, just like the one used in Sipeed MAix Bit Kit.

One feedback, please:

  • It is difficult to insert the camera ribbon easily with the current arrangement. I understand that this mode is some kind of industry standard but perhaps some other foolproof arrangement (e.g. Grove connector :smiley: ) is possible in the near future?

  • Please provide STL files for the combo acrylic case. It will be easier for us to download the file (you can charge a nominal fee if necessary to subsidize the development of the 3D model) but waiting a fortnight for delivery from Shenzhen is too long.

      Unfortunately, it now appears that the camera, TFT and sensors are not part of the KIT - they have to be ordered separately. No issue with this fact except that I did not realize that when I placed my original order. Now I have to do a follow up order! :roll:
