New Product Idea - Rock Pi Compute Module

I would like to see a SoM (System-on-Module) product similar to the Raspberry Pi Compute Module CM4, but x86-based. So a tiny board without any IO ports, but instead a Mezzanine connector like the CM4.

Most people will probably want to run Windows/Linux x86-64 on it, so it should have a fast desktop processor like an i3 or equivalent and 8G of RAM.

Having the option of connecting a real SSD via mPCIe or eMMC would be great as well for the best user experience if running an interactive desktop.

I think such a product would have lots of potential for mass production - The 8G CM4s are always sold-out. (For that matter, so are the Rock Pi X!)

Good Day,

Dave
