New DSO Nano, Dead on arrival

I received my new DSO Nano V1 today, plugged in the battery, charged it for a while and then turned it on. All I get is a white screen. I do not have a micro-sd car of any kind in it yet.

(And I thought I had ordered the V2, but I guess I made a mistake when ordering.)

Any advice for what I can do?

Thanks,

Mark

If you turn on the nano with the down key pressed do you see the bootloader/firmware update screen?

Yes, I do see it. Encouraging. I guess I should try flashing the latest firmware. I installed the updater software, but can’t get Win 7 (32bit) to recognize the drivers…

Hurray! I found this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=578

Followed the directions and I now have a working Nano V1.

I expect it will help me debug a lot of automotive problems. It will be much easier than lugging the big HP scope out to the garage.

Thanks for the pointer that got me started.
