Wanted to save some room/cost in a robot I’m building and ordered an Arduino Nano to take the place of the Uno I want to use on other projects. It works for my sensors, but when I came to my motor shield I wasn’t certain how to connect it. Do I just need to line up the ICMP pins or so I need to connect some of the Digital pins as well to the shield?

Motor Shield V2 is designed in a standard Arduino Shield form factor. It would be easy to use with Arduino Uno compatible board.
If you still needs to use Arduino Nano, please use the Schematic/Board files of Motor Shield V2 available here and map Arduino pins accordingly to Nano.
