Hi there,
That would be strong, definitely need some better antenna’s though.
GL PJ
This is my current rig with a XIAO antenna… it is supposed to be for 2.4 gHz… not 900mHz… but it did the 5 mile shot across the water… I think probably better than the stock strip antenna, but i have gotten good range with it… and the strip antenna is basicly the same as the Tracker 1000-E i used as the reciever end
Can you design a 3d print container for the XIAO expansion board? I don’t know if the flat side of the antenna is a directional or not
I really need that XIAO Master System with enclosure and solar power
Hi there,
LOL, looks good to go but don’t leave it on a park bench anywhere(swat-team) bomb squad might show up…lol
Yes, I’ll take a look, might even be one out in the wild ? I’ll check the usual places, and see what I find. then try and putt a box together with a spot for ant’s

thanks… even if you could get me started… i can also have it printed by a friend of my if you send the files… small square recess for gps antenna…
If i do the chesapeake bay moonshot i may plan to mount it on top of a pvs pipe i can shove into the sand at the beach
wow, that is a big guy… turkey dinner in some months…lol
i had him on max zoom… he was probably 50yards away when he finally stopped and looked back… public park was at the end of the 4 mile moonshot… I kinda thought it was further than that… I was actually suprised we could get signal because the transmitter was blocked by the bridge for direct visual line of sight… but i guess it went up and over… i forgot to take a picture at the base station… but could get nothing from behind
6 mile was on top of a small boat channel hump on the bridge… the few extra feet helped
