Many MODBUS-RTU sensors on one board

Hello everyone!
I’m new to the whole “industrial” IoT scene, I’ve been playing around with I2C sensors for a while now.

Anyway, I need a board or a way to connect several (around 6) MODBUS-RTU (and possibly one aviation)
sensors to only one linux-compatible board.

Can this be achieved? How would you do it?

You can consider buying enough expansion boards with IIC interfaces, or buying an IIC expansion board. But you need to pay attention to whether the address of IIC will conflict, and choose the right board.
