LiPo Rider Pro + GPRS Shield

Hi guys,

Can I use the LiPo Rider Pro as a backup power source for my Arduino UNO + GPRS Shield stack when the main power fails?
Also, I don’t want to charge the LiPo battery through LiPo Rider with solar or usb power, but with an AC/DC wallwart… Is this possible?

  1. Yes, but consider the battery size vs power requirements of your GPRS radio.
  2. Yes, if you terminate your DC wallwart with a mini USB or JST 2.0 connector :wink:
