LCD question--how much current?

Hello,

I have never seen the wiki-style of documentation and have been missing the traditional datasheets here. I am considering purchasing the LCD twig because I need a serial LCD (I wouldn’t be using any other of the Grove products), but I don’t see mentioned anywhere how much current this device uses. Any help would be nice.

Hi Sir, the current of the module is about 20mA when the backlight is off and 75mA when the backlight is on.

Serial LCD need 5volts, if you use a Arduino don’t need a external supply, because use this voltage from USB or 9volts battery but if you use a Seeeduino Stalker you will have problems with the voltage.
