Just wonder why this is no such a product could make the sensor true wirless?

In the actual application scenarios of the Internet of things, the Internet of things should refer to WIRELESS Internet of things.

However, for so many so-called IoT projects, various types of sensors must communicate with main board with wireless function via cable connection, which does not really well realize wireless.

In fact, our IoT project is often restricted to the cable connection between sensor modules, and sensors can’t be flexible wireless allocated.

Just wonder why this is no such a product could make the sensor true wirless? I do think that we should have a module for grove sensor to enable wireless transmission between main board and various sensors, even actuating units. Do you have this confuse?

Hi,

There are many seeed products out there to make your product wireless, and the only hassle is to choose the correct wireless option from the available range, I list some of them depends on the division.

-> Short Range Low Data Transmission: BLE, Zigbee, Sub-Ghz…etc

-> Long Range: LoRa, Cellular

-> Short Range High Data Transmission: WiFi

You can find a wide variety of module here: https://www.seeedstudio.com/category/IoT-c-1007.html
