Issue with testing the sine wave generator

Thoughts?

• Unit is defective
• Works as expected
• Calibration issue

I went through the calibration guide successfully then changed the generated signal to a sine wave. My expectations were for a reasonably smooth sine wave. However, the display showed a sine wave with a significant stair step pattern (See attached file “sine wave test oddness.png”)



The triangle wave and sawtooth waves also have similar stair step patterns.



Is this expected? Or is there an issue with my unit?



P.S. APx_P100 is awesome!

Atleast the older APP versions use a lousy 36 sample sinewave, which looks like what you posted. Dunno about APx_P100.
