Is there way charging the battery GSM

is there any other way of charging the battery with out using the usb i have looked on the .sch and it looks like it can only be done through the USB5V there is a pad that connects to that it located right next to the usb slot i tried to solder a wire to it but the pad is so small i think i shortaged something out on my board :frowning: just wanted to know is there anywhere else i can supply 5v to the usb to charge the battery?

You can even try with external lipo charger, or with one power regulator: just set a voltage limit to 4.20V and charge with maximum 1C (that means if the battery has 500 mAh capacity, the max. charge current is 500 mA)
