So I bought this 433MHz RF link kit: http://wiki.seeedstudio.com/2KM_Long_Range_RF_link_kits_w_encoder_and_decoder/
On the webpage it says:
“You can directly use it with your projects, like wireless data transport, remote control, etc.”
And also:
“Rate ＜5Kbps”
So does this mean this kit is suitable for data transmission? Well I thought so. The basic setup with 4 switches and 4 LEDs work fine but I can’t seem to get data transmission to work at all, at least not with this library which should be compatible with the PT2272 chip: https://github.com/sui77/rc-switch
Later I read on another webshop who sells the same kit:
“Warning: this kit is not suitable for data transfer but remote control.”
So I’m lost; can I do data transfer yes or no? And if yes, how?
If anyone knows the answer to this, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
