I think I correctly followed the instructions (in Software Step 1 at https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/Grove-RGB_LED_Stick-10-WS2813_Mini/) by using the https://github.com/Seeed-Studio/Seeed_Led_Strip/blob/master/examples/simple/simple.ino link. However, in a comment (// NeoPixel Ring simple sketch (c) 2013 Shae Erisson) on the page that the link goes to, there is the word “Ring” (and nowhere in the comments is the word “stick”), even though it is for a stick (and not for a ring).
