im having a problem with the provided script that can be downloaded with the IMU 10DOF v2.0 (MPU9250) module… titled “IMU_10DOF_V2_test”…the heading and tilt heading variables that are outputted are completely inconsistent. when the sensor is in a resting state those variables oscillate within a 5 degree range and when i rotate the sensor 90 degrees on my desk the sensor reads the rotation as being somewhere between 65-80 degrees.
Ive already run the //Mxyz_init_calibrated function and to no avail. its still wildly off for a sensor that has such good specs. whats going on here? As far as a functional compass/magnetometer is concerned the data coming out of this thing is very sporadic.
does anyone have a solution or more defined script that outputs smoother values?
