I just received my new Seeed Studio senseCAP indicator. is anyone available to meet me on Zoom to help me out? I read the getting started and sownloaded the SenseCraft App to try and pair it with Bluetooth, but the SenseCrfaft asks me to scan the QR code on the device, WHERE IS IT. I got 2 QR codes on the box, one is for the manual, and the other is on LoRaWan. when I manually enter, it asks me for EUI code or KEY. WHERE IS THIS? I certainly cannot find it in the docs.

On the Meshtastic App, when I try and pair it, it asks me to enter the code from Meshtastic_ece0, WHERE IS THAT? I can’t find it in the document ANYWHERE!!! This document is HORRIBLE!!! I really need some help, I cant even get started…

I do not have one YET… based on the other products should be a QR code on a sticker on the back of the unit or bottom or somewhere

keep the LoRa qr code , that is for setting up SenseCAP… but you dont want to do that now… you want to go the meshtastic route

What product are you talking the new meshtastic node?

this is where your codes should be… i dont see a qr code… technicly you dont need it set up in sensecap if you going the meshtastic route you need the meshtastic app

I would say look at this device wiki as it is a duel mode SenseCAP and Meshtastic capable device

code should be 123456 bluetooth pairing code… otherwise you can connect to the meshtastic serial monitor and it will tell you the random code

I was able to get it paired, but now I’m looking at the Indicator display screen, how come I don’t see a menu on the left side panel like what I see from the YouTube videos? Is my “indicator” defective?

I connected it to the Meshtastic app, and was able to connect to it, and I was able to send a message to the indicator screen, but how can I “reply”

Is there another set of software I need to install? When I bought the unit, I was told that it was “stand alone”. I understand that I had to set it up with the Meshtastic App, but why is the screen not responding to my touch. Is there anyone willing to meet me on Zoom to “hand hold” me?

A very very confused and frustrated user.

I was able to set it up with the Meshtastic App, but when I was consulting with YouTube, I see their screen has a menu, and a lot more functionality, In my screen, I just see an incoming message on the top left side of the screen, but it doesn’t respond to my touch, and for the sake of me, I cannot get the menu on the left side bar.

There seems to be some kind of ports on the back side, do I have to purchase an additional board or something? I was told that this unit was stand alone (after configuring it with the app).

Can you please explain this? and how can I send a screen shot so I can show you what I have, or better yet, meet me on Zoom.

My friend chill… it will all be ok… the work is for you to do… obviously you did not read the links I provided because you ask the question what is the grove ports for and this is clearly understood by reading the wiki… just take a chill pill and do the homework and you will be fine
