How to turn off power indicator led on Grove Base Shield for NodeMCU?

Hi! How can I programmatically turn off the power indicator LED on the Grove Base Shield for NodeMCU V1.0? Is this possible?

Would it also be possible to turn the LED back on, and thus make it blink?

I’m using the shield with a NodeMCU v2 - Lua based ESP8266.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,

I do not have that kit but it seems like you cannot do it unless you cut the power.
