How to power the XIAO BLE using a Li-Po battery?

Hello.
Can I power the XIAO BLE with a 3.7V Li-Po Battery? I tried to connect the battery to two pins that are under the board (Printed as BAT + -), but it is not working. What should I do to make it powered by a Li-Po Battery?
Thank you!

Hi, this is the link about using the accelerometer on Seeed Studio XIAO nRF52840 combined with Edge Impulse to enable motion recognition and there is an instruction to show how to connect a Li-Po battery to the board. Motion Recognition based on Edge Impulse - Seeed Wiki
