Hercule robotic platform motors and encoders details

Hi all,

I need more details on the motors and encoders of the Hercules robotic platform motors (reference 25GA-370 didn’t really help me in Google). Namely:

  • gear ratio
  • ticks per rev of the encoders

Is it possible to tell the direction of the motors with these Hall effect encoders? I need this info as without it, my platform is basically useless.

As for the direction of motors, it depends on the polarity of power supply, you can change the direction of motors if changed the polarity of power supply.
