grove xbee carrier with dust sensors

Hi,

If i use a Grove Xbee Carrier ( seeedstudio.com/wiki/Grove_-_Dust_Sensor ) ?

From what i understand, Grove Dust Sensor requires a voltage between 4.75v - 5.25v.
I saw that there are PIR sensors that require 12V.

I guess the general question would be, how can i use Grove XBee Carrier with sensors that require more than 3.7v ?

You’d need to use a shield with an inverter that can boost the output to 5v. The V2 solar shield does this. Getting up to 12v would require external hardware
