I want to use two IMUs for my project. No problems with connecting one with address 0x68. The Seeed wiki page for Grove IMU 9DoF v2.0 states that it is sufficient to connect pads a and b to get address 0x69.
I did connect them, but when I run a I2C scanner I get “No devices found”. Is there something elese that should be done?
Thank you for your fast reply! I had to look on other websites how to disconnect these kind of pads but in the end I managed to do it. It would be nice to have a slightly more detailed explanation on how to do this for beginners like me!
Thank you again.
Hi @Chiara
If you look carefully, you will see there is a very thin tin between pad B and C to connect the two, you just need to find a way to disconnect the tin between them. You can use a sharp object to scrape off the tin in the middle or use a soldering iron to find a way to separate the tin in the middle. The diagram isn’t very clear.
