Is there a way to turn off the backlight on a Grove 16x2 LCD Series ?
I guess that the function lcd.setRGB used in the “Hello World” example works for the Grove LCD RGB Backlight only.

Did you try to set RGB the value to zero? Is that working?

I tried your tips, but it didn’t work. I currently think that it’s not possible to turn off the backlight on the LCD series
I was wondering the same if you can turn off the backlight. So far I have not found a way…
Would be great to get an update here…
Looking for assitance in setting up a SEED Gove - LCD RGB Backlight display #MOA180423214 with my trusty Arduino MEGA2560 board. I don’t see a place to upload my sketch and compile errors?
