GPRS Shield V2 - Question about baud rate

Hello Dear SeedStudio community,

I’ve a simple question about the GPRS Shield V2. It seems that by default, the baud rate is set to ‘0’ (auto). I’ve changed it to 19200 with the command AT+IPR=19200.

And it works like a charm.

My question is : Is that baud rate will be saved (forever) to the board ? I mean, if my GPRS module is not powered, will the baud rate setting be lost ? Should I place a battery on the module to save the baud rate ?

hey,the baud rate would not be changed without setting it again.So once you setted the baud rate, it is steady.
