Functionality of onboard signal generator?

The onboard signal generator makes a usable sine/square/triangle 2.5 Vpp, but I have seen at different places(?) where this generator has variable output amplitude. Does anyone know how to tap the full functionality of this onboard generator? Thanks

Device info: HW: 2.6, SYS: 1.34, APP: 2.33

There is currently no way to change the output level

What about the duty cycle, any chance we can see a firmware upgrade to be able to do that soon ?
