Flame sensor on raspberry pi using the base hat

Hi all,

I got the flame sensor, but was wondering if I could use it with the base hat I already have. The wiki shows that GrovePi + should be used, but I wanted to avoid buying a new hat if possible.

Hi, was the Flame sensor supplied with a connector cable? Or only the board?

Hello, it was supplied with the 4 pin connector cable.

I see. Then I think you can use it without the GrovePi+ too. If you use the connector cable + male to female jumpers, you can connect the sensor to a standard Raspberry pi. I used some Grove sensors in the same manner without using the Grove shield or Grove-pi etc. .
